Yet another disappointing fantasy movie. It's no wonder so many think that fantasy movies are corny, because they usually are. The characters didn't fit, the effects were bad, the only thing it had going for it was the fact it's based off a good story...about a whale. I wish a bit of effort was put into more of these type of movies, there's so few of them.

Yeah, but with dragons. I'm still trying to figure out what exactly their ship is, it's like the top part of a submarine that can sail through forests and mountains, that for some reason requires anchors.

this could have been good,with a few tweaks ...mostly it was the idea of the ship i just cant see how it would work to chase dragons with it

Basing a dragon film on Moby-Dick was an inspired idea. Pity it couldn't live up to the promise.

I can sort of make sense of it, they're hunting Dragons, so they need somewhere solid to live in, as camping out wouldn't really cut it, plus it's mobile so they can go where they need to.

As for the anchoring, maybe its just me, but I thought it was incase a dragon got too close, to stop the Land Ship being picked up/knocked too far/over if the Dragon tried to grab it.
