Started off with a WTF? But it grew on me.
As if there hasn't been enough rewrites of Melville's Moby Dick, this one actually garnered my attention for a bit.

I thought it was inspired genius on the screenwriters part. And casting a Black man in the lead was another act of genius. I felt the movie worked and rather enjoyed it.
