Another slow and certain Classic

Seems a classic b movie first few views; however, The Innkeepers is a slow brew of a film. The instant grat lean in most folks wants for this film to throttle up fast with the climax and scare quicks,
Instead, everyone involved in this great picture, the sum total of their combined efforts; actors, crew, etc allow for a natural capture of an otherwise seemingly boring place, regular people, gel over the duration of movie to become a really spooky movie where like Claire who becomes eventually super freaked out ....
So does the Inn. The lobby, the hallways, the haunted room and especially the basement!
It is obvious everybody involved in the making of The Innkeepers loves movies and especially loves making movies.
That is what is so cool and should not be lost. The actors and the characters they play are not perfect. They have flaws. They don't seem extraordinary at first and the Director isn't trying to persuade the viewer. The Director let's the location, a neat ghost story, the characters etc do their job.
Hats off to the music composition and backing soundtrack and the camera guys. They accomplished a wonderful film.
Great film and Time will reveal The Innkeepers an easy choice for all the elements every good film provides; a casual way to spend some quality time.

I agree I thought this was a fantastic film and is very underrated in my opinion I thought that the performances were superb and was effing scary for the final 30 mins. I highly recommend this too any horror fan

In Southeast Asia we'd call this kind of thing bad karma.
