While I LOVE this show, I wish they'd put the car in "good" neighborhoods too, with white people because white people (and I am white) also steal your money and cars, the embezzlers and the look at the executives who steal with ponzie schemes and goldman sacs, that are more damaging to humans in the long run.
If you lived in a neighborhood with many car thieves, you might appreciate the effort the police make in keeping your stuff safe.

What is the OP getting at?
They put the cars in areas where car theft is a common occurence. Most "good" neighborhoods, no matter what color of people live there, don't have a high occurence of auto theft.
And yeah, white collar crime is mostly committed by white people, but what a boring show THAT would make, LOL.

I agree with both of you, but that would be a boring show since there is little car theft even in 'good' neighborhoods (whatever that means). I live in a nighborhood that is 95% white. My neighbor never locks his cars. Sometimes leaves his garage open all night. Nothing has happened in 12 years. Boring.

They did try this once. They took a good looking bike and placed it in a nice area and left it for over three hours and NO one even looked at it. They then place the same bike in a ghottohood and guess what, it did not take but three minutes before it was stolen. In both cases this was videoed by a hidden camera.

shareAnd you'd most likely have people calling the cops saying "Hey there's this car that's unattended and I haven't seen the owners, and I'm concerned someone might steal it or that the owner is in trouble."
