Why would you get into a car that was left running with the door open?

If I saw a car that was still running with the passenger side door open I'd call the police right away.

I've watched way too many crime shows where people are pulled out of vehicles and murdered to even get into a car like that because it could be a crime scene. Not that I would get into any car that didn't belong to a family member or close friend, but these theives are dumb.

Oh and I'm black by the way if it matters (which it seems to on this board).

I'd get the key out of the car, lock the car, call the cops.

You have no business getting anything muchless the key out of the car and locking it. That is a felony. Do you really want to do time for something so dumb?

I wouldn't, but I know a ton of teenagers that would. I'm from Nebraska, and I know city kids (both rich and poor) and country kids (both rich and poor), who would take the car for a spin around the block. Not looking to steal it maliciously, but just to say they did it.

That's definitely stupid, but they're teenagers, they're not exactly smart.

Well then maybe you can answer why blacks seem to have sticky fingers and steal anything that is not theirs in the first place.
