What is the deal with Det. Greene in L.A.? He always has his goatee in some 1990s-douchebag grunge look, like he thinks that being on this show makes him a huge TV star and he needs to look his trailer-park best for his fans.
On top of his out-of-date goatee, he speaks in the over-confident, know-it-all way that uneducated people use when they think they're smarter than the people they're talking to. It makes him come across as a backwoods hick who has been given a little power and the want to make sure everyone knows how important they are.
