Well, I thought so, too... until they added this new neighbor kid who's even worse!!
sharetrip seems like an actor that his mom works for the film company, and really wants her kid to act, and got him in with a producer, since no other kids auditioned.
shareI think the kid's pretty flat. When they do flashbacks between Vince & his wife I feel some chemistry between the actors, but I feel no real chemistry between David Lyons in the scenes with his son. The kid's just blank.

shareYou've obviously have never seen the remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" - Aside from the myriad of problems with that film, Jayden Smith's acting made me want to break my plasma.
(To his credit he did redeem himself in the Karate Kid remake, I went in expecting to hate it, and while there were some issues, I didn't hate the movie.)
All bad kid actors, granted. But no, this guys the worst.

I even saw Taylor Laughtner act in The Adventures Of Shark-Boy And Lava-Girl(even when I first saw it - I was 9 - I thought it was crap, just as bad as the Spy Kids movies which had WORSE child actors). Watch them and they'll make this kid look like he'd be worthy of an Oscar nomination.
