Rewatching the show right now

about half way through. I really miss this show. It is much better than a lot of stuff. I guess audiences just were not ready for it. I am Canadian, and I had a lot of Indian friends in university (and Arab and Pakistani and Bangladeshi) so maybe I was more open to it, and someone from say, Texas, where their idea of culture is a burrito made by an illegal immigrant, just wouldn't get it.

No offense to Texans intended. I just picked somewhere stereotyped as "ignorant" and "ultra-patriotic".

I just saw the show for the first time (1st episode) and loved it thoroughly.
The way they portrayed those weird and peculiar aspects of Indian culture (oh, the cow!) was hilarious.
I completely agree with you that you need an open mind because outsourcing is a very sensitive topic that affects lives of millions of people.
