I thought it would be absolutely garbage, but I kind of enjoyed it. Sure, the songs weren't so good, nor was the singing, but I got a few laughs out of the Blades teammates dancing around and singing.
The only thing I really hated was Olivia Newton-Johns accent... It sounded like someone trying to put on a fake one and it annoyed the crap out of me.

Your first thought was correct. It IS absolutely gargabe. Olivia's presence was the ONLY reason it was barely tolerable.

See, I thought that she'd bring more to the movie but it really didn't do it for me.

I understand what you are saying. But it is hard for ANYONE to bring more to a lame piece of crap. It was doomed from the start.

Yeah, if it had a whole cast of actual singers and actors rather then only having one or two, then it could have had a better chance at survival.
