It's a bit clichéd, and it isn't anything great, but it is good for what it is. Miley Cryus is being a normal, believable teenage girl and Demi Moore doesn't annoy too much either. The teenage parts ring true, at least.

I just watched this on Netflix, because they're going to be doing an episode for the "How Did This Get Made?" podcast, and it's a pretty unbelievable movie. It's like a sh!t sandwich smothered in garbage sauce.
I agree with you. It was fairly enjoyable. There are movies far worse than this one.
