shareNot to be rude but calling it crap when you haven't seen it is pretty lame, not to mention rude. Expect this movie to be good because it will be. You can't take something wonderful like the world of Oz and make it crap, you just can't. Is there a guarrantee that you'll like it? No, but at least give it a chance before calling it crap.

I'm going to take a guess and say you have seen the version that was leaked online. That was an unfinished version. The finished version I am told is much better. I agree the quality of the special effects in the leaked version were not great but that was an unfinished version. The finished versions both the two part and the miniseries themselves will be better I think.

it is pretty bad, and just gussying it up with decent effects will not change that.
It's not a remake or re-imaging.. It kind of reminds me of a lifetime channel movie.
I personally would have liked a sequel that takes place in OZ though
