Movie Goofs or MisDirect & Review

The first 30-45 mins was dreadful and I had no idea it was part of a miniseries made into a movie until 2 hours into the 2:50 min movie. Obviously, I know the story of OZ but was so confused with the storyline until maybe 90 mins into the movie which is when most movies usually end these days.

Billy obviously wasnt the tin man, but Dorothy clearly said she recognized him at the bar scene and was convinced of it and yet I kept waiting for him to be a muchkin or some Oz character. But, nada.

And, what happened to the other Good witch that was fighting with Glenda in OZ, she just vanished through the movie. And I love the special effects of how the man transformed into the Tin Man but what was up with the Cowardly Lion's teeth that looked like some dreadful creature out of a horror movie? Where was his major transformation or at the very least his tail and claws?

And, we all know that the Wizard has no real magic from the story which remained but how did Dorothy become such a powerful and magical being of light with healing powers and why were the classic ruby slippers made of silver? And, they said the Snow Globe had the rest of the key's emerald piece but that was never shown, and instead they used cufflings?

I give this movie a 6/10. It had so much potential.
