Could themes from Stories we Tell be in Take This Waltz?

I know Satah wanted to explore the idea of the the themes of women have idealized " the happily ever after fantasy love" in monogamous or marriage relationships as well as the themes of realistic p.o.v. of women's infidelity, melancholy in Take This Waltz. However, after watching Stories We Tell and learning about her mother's life, relationships with her husband and infidelities and the fact Sarah is a product of a love affair with a Jewish filmmaker from Montreal made me wonder if Michelle William's character Margot had elements of her mother as well some of Sarah since in SWT, when interviewed, her sister claimed how strange that one of both her and Sarah's reactions while learning the rumour was real that both had divorced their first husbands. I find that fascinating and if Sarah used Take This Waltz as an a creative outlet and almost therapy like her mentors David Croenenberg (with The Brood a movie he made as his own warped version of Kramer vs. Kramer hell based on his real life divorce) or how Atom Egoyan explored what happened in his homeland Armenia (in Ararat)? Ofcourse we will never know what goes on in the minds or life between two people in a marriage/divorce unless being a fly on the wall. I really respect Sarah as a filmmaker and especially as a female filmmaker like Katherine Bigelow (whom she was directed by in Weight it of Water). She has surrounded herself with amazing role artistic and filmmaking models both male and female!
