The airport metaphor
I only really understood the airport metaphor (Margo was afraid of connecting flights, afraid of being inbetween flights) after reading through some of the comments here. Margo was afraid of being alone, single. That's why she began her new relationship (at least emotionally) with Daniel before ending her existing one. While I appreciate that the film felt like underlining this fear with a metaphor, I thought the fear of connecting flights and having to be pushed in a wheel-chair was a bit far-fetched. Does anybody else? I feel they could have chosen a better metaphor. Like only telling your boss you're quitting on the first day of your new employment or something.
