Go to Hell

I really don't know what it is with this show. A friend mentioned it to me offhandedly to me one day, and it seemed something that would be right up my ally (had just finished watching Ugly Americans, which I loved), so I marked it off on my DVR. When I watched that first episode, I hated it. Didn't find it funny at all. But my girlfriend wanted to watch it too, so I ended up sitting through it again. The second time through I actually found it hysterical. The more I watched NEIGHBORS FROM HELL, the more I liked it. Watched the entire first season through maybe three times before finally erasing it.

Sure, it isn't up there with a lot of the other animated comedies, but damned if I didn't end up enjoying it.

I liked more after a while too but I can't stand most of their style of comedy. Especially the grandfather and goblin are just irritating. I can definitely continue to watch the series when there is nothing better which is often.

the funniest episode i remember was 'Screw the EPA'..Jane Lynch is hilarious, even when only doing voicework..prior to this episode, i was waiting for the show to actually get funny and/or do something..it seemed to just sit there..and considering other shows like Archer, South Park and Ugly Americans, the bar has been raised and, other than conceptually, Neighbors from Hell, doesn't seem to be trying to compete or otherwise 'join the club' of an ever-increasing number of animated comedies..don't see NFH being renewed for another season; but if it is, the show, definitely, needs to either go in another direction or rethink what's been put before us as intended to funny......
