I understood it....
Having dealt with people with mental illnesses, I thought it was superb. Great cast too.

This film was perfect on many, many levels, and not just regarding the subject of mental illness. What a beautiful film with everything, everything falling into place as happens occasionally to create a piece of art I for one will not forget. Maladies is one of those films that I too understand viscerally, and I'm glad to have seen it.
