What Nikita should have done in the season finale episode [spoilers]
SPOILERS.
What Nikita should have done is just kill Amanda, it's understandable why Nikita allows Amanda to live and to suffer being in prison permanently, but as a huge fan of the show i think the writers should have had Nikita just shoot Amanda dead and be done with it. Nikita leaving Amanda in the cell is lowering herself to Amanda's level and i know that Nikita is better than that.
Amanda could one day escape prison and hurt and kill more people, and Nikita would feel guilty for not just putting a bullet in her head.
Amanda was nasty and did a lot of evil things, but Nikita would have looked like a better person morally at the very end if she'd had just taken Amanda's life, THAT isn't right either, but the way the show went with this scenario is disturbing, Nikita could have taken the high road knowing how horrible psychological torture is and just decided not to do the same thing in retaliation.
I love this entire TV Show, i love all episodes, and all of the seasons, but the ending with Amanda just didn't sit right with me. The writers could have had Alex or Michael just kill Amanda early on in season 4, but they had to make it a big deal with Amanda in that chair type of thing with those metal things around her arms and neck.
A better alternative that the writers could have gone with to keep Amanda alive is to just have her serve a life sentence in a normal prison.
