Are we supposed to like Will?

To me shes annoying and bitch and it always made me mad watching her. Did the writers think because shes her own person and an individual the aduience was supposed to like her?

reply

she's based off the character in which she is in the book.

reply

I believe we are supposed to come to understand her and have hope that she can grow into a likable person.

Dang. Now I'm going to have to find another siggy.

reply

Right at the end of episode 2, I saw something that was appealing in her. I can't remember what it was - but she seemed like she changed.

reply

I agree. I started to like her a lot more now than I did at the beginning of the pilot.

I get that she is in some sort of recovery program. I think she was a rule breaker before and that caught up with her. When she statred playing by lifes rules and what people expect out of her she thinks things should go as she planned. She is not a control freak. She has issues with trust. I don't think she is mean she just doesn't want to get hurt.

reply

My bad I thought Wil ran the camp. I like that lady.

reply

After tonites episode I am completely turned off by her! She's self-centered and tries waaaay too hard to look like a 'rebel', while in reality she's cleary not as self-assured as she'd like us to believe. Anyway to sum up, not a fan! But to be honest pretty much every character on the show is annoying at some point, Will just has consistency lol.

reply

During the Spirit Quest episode, (spoilers!) when Will threw the compass because Ian gave it to Amber... that was so annoying.
I really don't like Will.

reply

That was nasty and childish.

It's like watching grass grow, except there's an explosion at the end

reply

And...the first person Ian hugged when Will and Amber returned was Will. Ian was praying for both of their safety, but I think he was more concerned for Will..I think that made her happy. I like her friendship w/Becca, and hated the way Chloe treated Becca after the "Quest for fire" was over with...Chloe and Amber are the "mean girls" of the camp, or they try to be anyway...

reply

Amber's not mean...I do find it annoying how she's so obsessed with losing weight (even though she's probably the smallest camper there). I'm afraid she might become bulimic if she keeps stressing herself out this way.
During the previews for next week we see her begging will to "not tell anyone" about something...

reply

amber is begging will NOT to say anything about amber kissing george. i think will hints that she knows or tells her she saw them kissing. It also could be the bulimic sl. i don't think amber is mean she just comes across like that sometimes, actually chloe comes across like that even more so.

reply

The thing is... George seems like Amber just the way she is.

I like Will. There's a lot we don't know about her. She's taking her anger out on those around her and we don't really know why (her parents but what else?). Ian is mostly likely the one to break through that icy shell.

Not a fan of Will at all she's obnoxious....

sig- Proud "ADULT!" Disney channel and Nickelodeon fan."

I like Will. What's wrong with being an individual? She way more likable than that Chloe, I just can NOT stand her.

reply

You all have to remember that we really don't know anything about her. I am sure there is more to her than what has been shown. There's reasons, most likely, she acts the way she does.
