Are The Actors/Actresses Going To Have To Lose Weight???

For the purpose of the plot?

I think this has been talked about but ya I think they might but i think it will be hard to get it right because it expends over a long period of time and shooting isnt....so maybe only a little bit

can I get an encore?

That's interesting. I think it's a double-edged sword. If the cast doesn't lose weight, it hurts the show's premise. If they lose the weight, the cast may lose fans who could relate to them.

Whether they have to or not there is photographic evidence that at least two actors (the ones who play Amber and Ian) have lost an appreciable amount of weight. I have yet to see any recent full body photos of Nikki Blonsky, but the face shots I've seen make it look like she may have also lost weight.

It's like watching grass grow, except there's an explosion at the end

I think that in the show, the characters will say that they lost weight, but the actual actors didn't.
