i will tell why this failed

i like this show i i think i should continue but this showed failed because they did not develop it quick enough for most people to stay tuned to when it got really good, they focused to much on stupid and pointless side plots, like Daphne's stupid boyfriend. This show is a great concept but it was poorly executed for the most part

I largely agree. It took too long to hit its stride. I kept waiting for them to team up and save the world.

I think what they was trying to go for was not just super powered family fighting crime, but dealing with family and social problems with a family that just got super powers. I think it was a very interesting concept but I guess many people just wanted to see superheroes fighting bad guys without any character development.

I was glad it got canceled. I liked the suspenseful and mysterious pilot with the plane crashing on the island and they fly home with powers. That was the only exciting part.

Did the dad become a stronger role model to his family after that experience? To me, the actor and the writer should have had a talk about what his plans were for character developing. He got shot and almost died once, but that was expected for trying to dodge bullets and fighting crime.

Did they ever go back to that island? I don't know, I stopped watching it after the 5th episode. I was waiting for an exciting adventure! Not fighting bad guys at home?

I watched a few episodes here and there to see what was going on, but nothing really changed. Same bad heroin stunts and the show, I thought was for teenagers, not much for the adults. Boring teen drama and family situations that didn't make me like the main characters really. The minor characters weren't bad though.

They should have just stayed on the island for a few episodes, not 1 at the beginning and found a way off by their powers to make the show come together better. The powers just came to them so fast without much of a explanation behind it.

I liked NOF but as I kept saying, it was basically The Fantastic Four meets The Incredibles crossed with a B plot from Heroes.
