TNT or SpikeTV is where this show should land.

TNT has accepted a remake of Dallas to air on its network. They should adopt Lone Star as well and air them on the same night, back to back. Or, since many people insist that Lone Star catered to a male audience, SpikeTV, a network which apparently caters to the male audience, might make a good fit as well. I did hear that producers might be looking for a new home for Lone Star. I don't know how much weight it carries at the moment, but I'm hoping it's true. Stay tuned!

TNT is the cable version of CBS. Their procedural shows like Rizzoli and Isles and The Closer have a lot of older audiences. While Spike caters to young male demographics.

Given the ratings, no cable network would pick it up. Southland was picked up by TNT but the budget was cut significantly.

I don't think this show was given time to produce any real ratings. TWO EPISODES? REALLY? FOX is practically scandalous for doing this. If cutting the budget is required to keep it alive then I think they should do it. SpikeTV sounds like the way to go. The male lead on the show is young, which is exactly the group that SpikeTV caters to. TNT is apparently looking to air more than just procedural type shows which explains why they've accepted the remake of Dallas. TNT is looking to try nighttime soaps now as well. So maybe they can also try Lone Star WITH Dallas airing back to back.

Or USA; during the hiatus of White Collar and Burn Notice we need a reason to tune into that network which hasn't seen a great bunch of shows since the early to mid 90s.
