Did anyone else LOVE Doris?
The smart and sassy couger who knows how to do her job and can't keep her hands off of Rick! I got a kick out of seeing her as Margarite with her boy toy.

I had not heard of Margo Martindale before this. I loved her in the pilot and again in the finale. She is excellent. Definitely my favorite guest character. I wish they used her for office stuff instead of Operative Blanke, and just left him out of the show. I did not like his character nearly as much.
I love the way Doris makes Rick uncomfortable from her attentions. Margo is a great actress, perfect for the role. Sorry, Rick, but I love when you are squirming!
I loved her too plus the fact that they didn't really play her up for cheap fat laughs, but gave her a great role and made the laughs at Rick's reactions.
It's rare that we ever get such a character like that, comfortable in her sexuality. I mean rare that they write it.

Exactly! Margo played it cool and Rick's reactions were hilarious.
Also, I loved the grin Rick flashed at her when Marguerite said his job was to keep her happy.
I agree - she is great in this and, yes, it's Rick's reactions that make for the laughs. I love the first time she saw Rick and said, "I like a lap-sized man."
Hillarious.

She really did steal the episodes she was in. What fun!
