Can someone tell me the premise of this show?

I'm not being a smartass, I swear. I flipped past this show tonight and can't figure out what it's supposed to be "about." I see it's a bunch of girls putting on makeup and going out, or hanging out in their house, but other than that I can't discern a theme or anything. Are they sisters? Friends? Celebrities I just don't recognize? Little help?

They are sisters and the only claim to fame so far is that one of them was among the robbers hitting up some hollywood houses last year. The mom's some lingerie/playmate person. I think in one preview or maybe an interview on E! News, the older girls said something about moving to hollywood so they can become stars. Don't quote me on that one, because they bore me to death.

This is a discussion forum, not a fan forum. <VP>

I remember in an interview, Andrea Arlington (the mom) said that she didn't want there to be a reality show, cause she was trying to advice the girls that no one would respect them as serious actors if they went on a reality show. Yet, here they are on a reality show.

E! picked up the show a bit before the burglarizes had occurred. The show is generally about three girls partying it up in los angeles, or to quote it more specifically "three sisters raising hell in the city of angels." But E! didn't know about Alexis' involvement with the burglaries. So when it happened, E! decided to continue with the show.

Thanks for the info, guys, especially the link to the LA Times article.

I also looked over some of the other threads here and while there does seem to be no real reason for viewers to care about these people/watch this show, I saw several posts from what I can only assume (and hope) are teenage males gushing about how sexy and perfect and hot -- and did I mention sexy and perfect? -- these girls are. I found them whiny and grating, but if you've got raging teenage hormones I imagine you'd enjoy watching a few vapid pubescent girls flouncing around the house in their underwear.

As for me, I watch enough trash TV as it is; I don't think I need to add this one to my schedule. :)
