Is the Demon (/Lipstick face) and the thing that was chasing Josh and Dalton in the further the same entity? Because he was a lot more scarier in our world than in the further. That scene totally took the sails out of this movie. I thought it looked silly by then. I'm watching it again now for benefit of a doubt.

It was the same entity and I totally agree. When he was in the grandmothers dream standing in the corner of the room and when he suddenly appeared behind the dad when they were sitting in the Dining room I was freaked out.
But in The Further - wow what a joke. When my friends and I first saw him in The Further we couldn't figure out if he was giving himself a manicure or sewing himself an outfit. I guess he was sharpening his nails
