I'd almost believe that. It's the type of oversight that makes you question what the point of IMDB even is. UBWCRHPL winning the Palme d'Or even made the nightly news (in my corner of the world anyway) for goodness' sake.

EDIT: to be fair, none of the 2010 data from Cannes has been published on IMDB at this instant:

Not that that's very reassuring: it probably reflects an even wider indifference to non-US cinema generally, not just Asian cinema.
