Pretentious and poorly made.
Ι was assured that this film was pretentious when I read that the director deems it to be an allegory about the... end of the cinema. Really?
Also, the camerawork, cinematography and direction truly left me unimpressed. Is the film supposed to be felt like an experience? I don't know, but I stayed totally out of it.
Maybe it is the cultural difference (i'm greek) but again, I have no problems loving films made in Japan or other exotic places. For example, the Korean Spring Summer... was beautiful and amazing.
On the other hand, this exotic and incomprehensible nature may be the main reason that some love this movie.
