The Japanese was terrible in this film.

I'm German born and raised but now have dual citizenship with the US as went to University and pre-med/Medical school here and I married a 3rd gen (tho his extended family is 7gens large) Japanese American fellow aka the love of my life in Med school and is now a fellow MD me going into Cardiology and he Neurology we have a long road yet but we both love our life its so challenging and I love my hubby so much. I'm living my dream and so thankful and fortunate. :).

Anyway I'm also fluent in English as we learn it in Germany at school and I took Japanese as one of my minors in University. Again the accent and the way they spoke Japanese in this film was so fake that it just irks me and my hubby. Its clear they were reading of a cue card or something. Not one of them can speak it. I do know some Korean actors do but NON one these guys or gals.
