description of love?

Does anyone have the quote from the film in which Luc describes love? I cannot find it online.

-How do you know when you're in love?
-There's something inside you that comes alive. The presence of someone. It's irrepressible and makes your heart beat faster, usually. It's an attraction, a desire. It's very beautiful. No use asking too many questions. It just happens. Things are as usual, then suddenly... happiness arrives, or the hope of it. It's lots of things. But you're in turmoil. Great turmoil. Especially the first time.

You're so soft, you make me hard
I'll put you on a movie, don't you wanna?

To AdmitOneTicket, I took Luc's description of love as that of human, carnal love that he experienced prior to taking his vows. To love God causes no turmoil, only peace and serenity. That's just my take on it. His delivery moved me to tears. Loved the film.

Thank you for posting this! I saw the movie last night and knew even before Luc finished speaking this piece that I wanted to save it.

Later in the move, the same character says something about "poverty, failure, and death" leading one to God. Not sure I agree, but his conviction sold it, and the statement illuminated his character perfectly.

Wonderful, moving film. Very glad I saw it. Grieved by all the real-life carnage on which it's based.

Words beautiful in their simplicity. A great quote.
The distance is nothing. The first step is the hardest.
