Segel was the perfect choice for this role.

I like him, but I didn't care about him until the last 20 minutes of the film. I felt he was a little naive...and creepy.

At least you cared at some point, which is more than a lot of movies manage.

"Your mother puts license plates in your underwear? How do you sit?!"

Yeah I think they made Segal a bit Autistic but he does get better as the film concluded in the last 3rd of the movie.

I think that's probably because he was stoned during the first 2 thirds of this movie.
