They didn't mention the Tooth Fairy or the Easter Bunny either, this is outrageous!
Alternatively it's because it's a documentary about science and facts, you can't really shoehorn God into either of those categories without destroying the credibility of the show.
If people want to believe in God that's fine I have no issue with that, but you shouldn't expect others to share that belief, and in the modern world you also shouldn't expect people to pander to it either.
