Serious flaws in this program

This is, by far, one of the worst programs ever shown on The History Channel.

First and foremost, this so-called "Apocalypse Island" is far from uninhibited. It has a permanent population of over 800 people. It has roads, electricity, Internet access, and even an airstrip. With an airstrip on the island, why did these morons take a boat to the island? Why all the drama about not being able to find someone to take them there?

Second, this Turner moron never "discovered" anything on this island. It is visited by hundreds, if not thousands, of visitors each year.

Third, why all the idiotic drama about "five days until the weather changes" and the trip becomes impossible? Weather does not change on a particular date -- EVER -- yet they try to get us to believe that there are a very specific number of days in which the weather will be good.

It seems that this programs was conceived, produced and hosted by total idiots. I believe my intelligence was actually lowered by the viewing of this program. Never mind the fact that the world WILL NOT end in 2012. This show is simply moronic. Jim Turner should be banned from ever appearing on television again.

They knew it was rubbish. That's why they did not show a clear shot of the so-called "Mayan monument" from the start. They knew people would have changed the channel immediately.

"what can man do against such reckless hate"
