What am I gonna do... with a gun rack?

reply

I'm bummed too...I like Geoff, he's good, he's humble and is a nice change from watching these showboat egomaniacs like Drew Dreschel, Flip Rodriguez, any member of the stupid Wolf Pack, Lorin Ball et all year after year after year....

Wish Geoff the best, hope he will return in the future :) It was a pleasure watching him, and remember Geoff, YOU ARE THE FIRST AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR!!

Well said.

I thought his comment of tired of being on TV was sort of humorous seeing as how his paying job is a TV cameraman.

Some people prefer to be behind the camera I guess. I wonder if his wife will keep trying.

I also wonder if part of him doesn't want to keep chasing that million dollars. I wonder if it haunts him at all that he could have had it all and at the very least deserves better than he got.

He was first across the line, but not the fastest. He knew the rules going in, but I would understand if he felt it was at least a little bit unfair. Nonetheless, he is the first and no one cant take that away from him.

reply

I feel like there should be some kind of penalty assigned if someone doesn't finish the qualifier/city final but still advances, to kind of even it out. The fact that Geoff completed every stage and Isaac didn't but won anyway kind of stinks to me.

reply

No, they made up the rules as they went along.

I'll bet he's kicking himself for not stopping at he end of last year and going out on top the way Isaac did.

reply

Yes this show has more than it's share of goofy showoffs. The long haired one who takes a dive after he hits the button needs a punch in the face (I forget his name).

I bet there will be NEWS! next year that he has reconsidered, and he'll publicity that he will, indeed,

His little girl burst into tears when he failed so miserably.

He was one class act.

My two favorite moments for Britten were when he finished stage 4 last year and the totally classy way he reacted when he fell on the first obstacle on stage 1 when he climbed out smiling and said, "Everybody falls."

What a great guy.

He'll be missed.

reply

Geoff, if you think people are going to beg you to come back, don't hold your breath.
