Just wondering, do the characters from Grey's and Private Practice carry over to this show? I ask because the chick dating the guy who had to have surgery without any meds- is the same chick who was dating Pete on Private Practice a while back. Thanks!

I just noticed that too..It seems like ABC uses the same extras. Two of the main characters on Off the Map were on Grey's before and that lady who died from the spinal injury was also a guest on Grey's
shareUh, how would they explain that Dr. Ben Warren is now Dr. Otis Cole? Lol, Jason George's character Warren was the anesthesiologist that Bailey had dated. So no, I really do not believe the characters cross over but these shows have been known to use some of the same actors as different characters. (which is strange considering Grey's and PP does carry over).
Jessica Capshaw's character Arizona went to Africa while she was filming a movie for Lifetime.

But the woman that the OP is referring to has been on Grey's, Private Practice, Brothers and Sisters, and now Off the Map. I really think the casting people at ABC like this woman...
