Ok, so I started watching Off the Map and watched episodes one, two, three and then skipped to thirteen. The first episodes gave me the impression the main couple was Lily and Ben and loved their chemistry and parallel stories and the truth is that I didn't like Ryan's character at all and didn't think she was a regular. Then I watched last episode and found the pairings had changed. Are Ryan and Ben the official couple? And Lily and the other guy, I don't know his name, sorry. I have the impression these two new characters are making them do the things they don't want to do according to their personalities and still have the hope maybe I lost some story in between and they are for some reason with the wrong partner. When I so Ben curing Lily's rash I thought maybe there is still something between them. But probably it's assuming too much. I don't want to sound offensive to those who like these pairings, just wanted to know if I was completely mistaken when I watched the very first episodes. Thanks a lot in advance for the info.

Well it was always Ben and Ryan, yes. They were from the start, till the final episode. I admit there were a few scenes that had me wondering if they were going with Ben/Lily, but then she met Mateo, and Ben stayed with Ryan. I actually think these pairings are better.
Lily needed someone challenging, someone who would make her realize the world isn't all as black/white as he makes it out to be, and Ben needs someone who completely understands his nature, who he is, the complexity of it. That's Ryan :)
