Such a beautiful short film =]

This is definitely one of my new favorite short films. The entire film is on youtube in two parts and it under 20 minutes and well done. There are only four main characters and while the acting isn't anything amazing, the characters are well written and not stereotypes (other than the father). The mother is a great character and Connor, played by the beautiful Justin Fix, was very likable and I was behind his plight. He was also the best actor in the film in my opinion. The love interest Alex, played by the cute Taylor Caldwell, is a likable boy, but sadly Caldwell isn't much of an actor. My other flaw is the representation of the father is rather two-dimensional, but I let that go because the film is less than 20 minutes so sometimes you have to go the cliche route to get points across.
The music was beautiful and well picked and the direction was also well done. The scene in the meadow and the grass was a sight to behold. I love how innocent and simple this short film was. It wasn't about sex or full of shirtless guys. It was just about a boy who is dealing with his crush on another and there is an actual happy ending =]. I would love to see this turned into a full length feature.
