About South Mississip (Post-Katrina)

"If God is Willing and the Creek Don't Rise"

This documentary focuses on South Mississippi and is pretty much a follow to his previous documentary "When the Levees Broke".

So much for the focus on Mississippi...and it's weird how all the press release links are now dead.

Not sure why you ever thought it was "about" Mississippi. It's a sequel to "When the Levees Broke," and there were no levees in Mississippi (which bore the brunt of the hurricane, but did not have the levee failure issues).

A better documentary about Katrina and South Mississippi is "Mississippi Son." Very moving.

it does shed light on the fact that the republican governor of ms got the same cash as democratic governor of louisiana even though his percentages were much smaller in terms of damage - no major cities ruined.

rather appalling.
