Is there really one coming out? I've only seen a few snippets suggesting it.

Yeah, I've heard rumors of a sequel.

Which seems like a monumentally silly idea, but Disney will do anything for a buck, and Ang needs the work.

I think they leaked sequel rumors to see if there was a buzz and demand for it, and there wasn't.

Filming began almost a year ago, in fact.

It’s officially set for a May 29, 2020 release (mind you, 2019 is already crowded for Disney)
