The changes made in the storyline

Besides me does anybody else think that some of the storyline changes the they made for this movie was pretty cheesy. Like for example that Malfeicent and her henchman believe or have in question that Prince Philip is the one to break the spell, and also so did the fairies. When really they had just met and barely had time to fall in love with each other. I know the saying love at first sight, but that isn't always the case.
