If I were surrounded with these women in my life I think I would take a dive off a skyscraper.

His secretary steals from him and even stole his home.

Scarlet ruins her marriage by cheating with him and then blames him for it.

His ex-wife is just an all around nightmare. Regardless of your stance on abortion, her son just found out his unborn child was "destroyed" and all she cares about is her reputation.

His whore/girlfriend is so hot/cold it's insane...and then just up and splits the country just when you think there is progress.

This show is equally funny and insanely frustrating.

Obviously, Cleaver is his own worst enemy, but if he wasn't - the very best thing he could do is say goodbye to every other f#cking person in this show and flee anywhere else.

Just curious, but is Australia an extremely feminist country, because how else could the guy be in the wrong and to blame no matter what the women do. I mean, when the women steal his apartment and he gets in trouble for being too loud when he comes home just BLOWS MY MIND APART.

You made your own point. Cleave is surrounded by these people because of the person that he is. A healthy person wouldn't put up with them, or if they were healthy, put up with him. Ironically, in s03e02, after his release, they have all moved on in the interim. It was like the entire supporting cast went to alanon, finally.

I think it's kind of sad.

I think Cleave f#cks up so much and creates so many problems that he puts up with other people's f#ck-ups when he shouldn't to kind of "make up for it".

The burden of his own mistakes must be what makes him allow INSANE things like his home to be occupied by his secretary and her family.

But the sad thing is that even when he's trying to make up for something by accepting other people's crazy situations...he ends up getting blamed for it anyway.

I like the AU version much better than the new US version, but the US version is definitely more "haha" funny and less of a drama.

I feel drained after s03e03. To see how Fuzz has learned from his dad. For a comedy this show has dealt with addiction in a serious manner so far.

I don't think anyone on this show accepts anyone, more that they tolerate them. All the characters have a grey zone, even Harry sorry David Potter, those his is more an addiction to pride and appearance. What we may be seeing here is a perturbation in the system as it stood, and the ripples are going to go out in many different unpredictable directions.

The court scene was pure Cleav.

After watching S3E02 I couldn't agree with you more, no family or friends at the appeal, Scarlet doing piss poor job (probably so she could keep all his clients) and then everyone acting like he was a bother when he got out. I don't know how he didn't kick that traitorous, thieving secretary and her horrible mum out of his place when he found them there and she says "I suppose you can sleep on the couch".

That's how it is when you deal with a woman directly all over the planet, ime, but not how objective 3rd parties or society view things - unlike in the show.

yea but the show is blast hilarious writing hot guest women roles nicole is funny scarlett is just hot but missy is just ANNOYING all the time and looks like a i dunno dinner plate with eyes cheers !

The scene in the hospital room with Cleve's heiny in the air as the women are all discussing him is one of the best in TV history. BOHICA to the mex.
