I think Debbie is headed to prison soon

Using stolen credit cards. Alot different than just stealing a stroller. I'd be shocked if there weren't some serious consequences

reply

I was just saying that to myself. Why would you use someone else's ccards to go on a shopping spree?? I mean, I guess the average crook would say 'why not'?? But I have had ccards stolen from me...not fun!! She's rapidly turning in 'Frank Jr'...

reply

The women she's stealing from are not poor, nor would they care about having Debbie thrown in juvie. She's messing with the wrong people, and I hate her for flaunting her "success" in front of the teen moms at school. That stupid, lying, thieving twat is going to be locked up, leaving an already frazzle Fiona to raise her kid - which is what Fiona was afraid of since she found out Debbie got pregnant on purpose.
I'd like to think that Franny's father's family would help, but Frank might have irreparably damaged that relationship when he blackmailed them to get money he said was for Fiona's almost wedding.

Good point....I didn't like the whole flaunting thing either. And you're right...what a twat!! Yep, her time is coming.

reply

Yep. I mean, she had pizza sent to her house using the card. I honestly thought the mom who had the first pram stolen was going to be the woman to meet her to buy it (along with police). But yeah...she's going to get busted.

reply

I thought the same things. Ordering pizza on a stolen credit card and having it sent to her house was definitely one of the dumbest things she's done. And there's a lot! I really thought the woman who she stole the stroller from was gonna be the one wanting to buy it back to set her up.

reply

That's one of the first things I thought when I heard she was charging stuff on a stolen card. She's getting caught. And then who takes care of Frannie? Another kid dumped on Fiona? Maybe they'll be a Juno-eque twist and the woman she's defrauding will get to know Debs and her situation and end up adopting Frannie because she can't have kids herself and always wanted one. And Debs will get off the hook for the fraud and parenting (which she's not ready for). I don't know, just spit ballin.

You should be a tv writer. Your ideas are better than most.

Not to be too picky, but why would she have an expensive pram if she had no baby in the first place?

The lady at the park could be a nanny instead of the mom. That's actually what I assumed.

reply

I thought they were all nannies too, until Debs pulled out the wallet. No woman would leave ALL that stuff in the care of a nanny. Their kid, sure. Their money, no way! Then again, that might have been a one-time thing.
Hey, what might work is if the lady had twins (hence the pram that carried two babies) but one died. That might make her more sympathetic to Debbie. I really wanted to like Debbie again, but I just can't warm to a thief. When someone robs you, the material things they take aren't as damaging as what it does to your feelings of trust, security, and safety.

reply

yes and take away her bastard child.

reply

I also thought about that, Frank was smart and had the laborer use it at the home depot. Not sure what Debbie is thinking!

reply

I hope it does happen... then CPS can come in and take her child, strip her off all her parental rights.

reply

it could take years to terminate parental rights

that poor baby should be with good parents

reply

I think that based on a line for this season's preview, she's absolutely going to be getting into some kind of trouble, though I doubt it'll have far-reaching consequences, as nothing really does on this show.
