Lauren and Kate's awkward relationship is amazing.

I've always liked Lauren. I always sided with her in season 1 because I thought Kate acted like a child most of the time. But this season I love their dynamic. That elevator scene was awkward gold! And them being roomies. I'm glad they've written them this way. Now if they can only write out Ben. (No need to add another character IMO) much less an annoying one.

Seriously, without the unnecessary and annoying addition of the tool, I think this season would be much better. They stopped trying to get Kate and her ex to get back together, Leo is being put to good use, Lauren and Kate are acting like adults. Why oh why is Ben in the middle of all this? How does he fit in the whole thing? It's like watching a character from Ally McBeal doing his shtick in an episode of Damages.

Lol, I remember while seeing a preview of the new season the announcer was like, "The audience loves the new partner Ben" or something along those lines...clearly that was a lie.

Personally, I don't mind him. Don't love him, don't hate him. It's Kate I have a problem with, now at least she can direct her special brand of brattyness at someone other than my girl Lauren, so I'm cool with that.

I know right? I love the dynamic b/w Lauren and Kate; I think they will always have each others back no matter what. So glad Lauren asked Kate to move in w/her, that scene was nice bc it shows that Lauren does care for Kate's well-being and Lauren told her she don't want to be alone. They make a great team as well. Ben like I said has a lot of layers to him, I think he will eventually grow on us (at least I think he will, don't see his character going anywhere soon). Ben has been burned like Kate in the romance department so he keeps the "falling in love" aspect of his life last on his list. I'll give him a chance bc he's not really as cocky as he wants ppl to think. I want more scenes of Lauren/Kate though bc they play off each other so well.

How cool is it seeing Lauren nodding submissively to Kate's maternal tone for once? Very. :D And then right the very next second they revert back to the Kate's late and Lauren smacks her forehead norm. A w e s o m e.

I'm still a little irritated by Ben, can understand where he's going and all but, he's still irritating...now.

Now I just want see Lauren and Kate go back to bickering over nothingness and their vast differences. Lauren's letting her hair down too much for me, I'm afraid she'll loss that uptight OCD side that contrast her so well with Kate's messiness.

Nah, I'm not worried. I def think Lauren still has the OCD side to her. I love how Kate pointed that out too. Telling her that she never messes up. I'm also liking the fact that Kate has pointed it out this season that Lauren has saved the company since her dad died. In the first season she never would of done that. I think they are bringing each other to a nice middle. Lauren keeps Kate's hot messness at bay(1st season she acted like a child, this season it kind of cute) and Kate makes Lauren a little less cold.

And I totally agree. That scene with Lauren and Kate at the restaurant was amazing. After Kate runs out of there like a mad woman and Lauren is just looking at her like she is a hot mess. haha

Oh hey I just realized that, after Lauren said Kate really lost her mother to cancer and her father to work, I just realized Lauren is the one constant parent Kate never really had. Lauren is the one person involved and concern enough about Kate's life she rolls her eyes and admonish Kate's more haphazard moments, just a like a concerned mum would.

I think it's really funny that after the two made up and are laughing again at the end of this episode, Kate's so relieved she's following Lauren around with that watery and hopeful puppy eyed expression. Lol, she's so happy.

I am enjoying not only the Kate/Lauren relationship, but the Ben/Justin one, too. I got a kick out of the judge bringing them back again and again, picking their brains.

I like Lauren too, but I think the dynamic between her and Kate was more interesting in Season 1. To be honest, I'm having a hard time finding ANYTHING interesting about Season 2. I'm still trying to figure out why the Ben character was added and how they justify the stupidity he brings to the show. So now one of the most prestigious law firms in San Fran is run by a young widow, her young step-daughter, who is no longer an attorney, and some young guy who just appears out of thin air and tell's them he's their new partner? Yea, right.

I agree. Two episodes now they focused on Ben/Kate and according to the promo, next episode's going to be even worse.

Before I was worried there are too many scenes with Kate and Lauren, now I'm just begging they'll just spend the minutes of the show on them, even if their story and conflict's kinda over and done with. I. Can't. Stand. Ben/Kate.

Tonight when Lauren walked into Kate's room acting like a total mom and then freaking out when there was a boy in her room was amazing I agree with Enilamoht, though. Too much Ben/Kate and def not enough Lauren/Kate time.
