I was wondering the same thing. IMDB has that name (Claudia Alves) as a crew member in FAIRLY LEGAL, so I don't know what is going on...
BTW - Hers is also the oddest "Brazilian accent" I have ever heard, and it sounds MUCH more like a Spanish accent that our exchange student from Barcelona had, (Catalonian rather than Castilian/Madrid, with English as her third language). Brazilian Portugese (national language) only has 23 of the 26 typical English letters in the alphabet (except in proper names), an one that is 'missing' is the letter "k", but she spoke and sang with the "k" sound.
We also hosted high school exchange students from Rio de Janero, Sao Paulo, Santa Caterina, Recife, Manaus, and Belo Horizonte for one school year each, plus another one from the interior (city of about 200,000 population) for three months, and learned to recognize the accent of each area. With all that said, Brazil is about the same size as the USA, and about the same population as well, so there are obviously other accents.
But, her accent does not even resemble any of the accents those Brazilians had.
FYI - Her singing sounds a LOT like (Antonio) Carlos Jobim (1927 - 1994) I have heard. He did have roughly three dozen of his own albums, and dozens of credits with other artists' albums, soooooo, there is a lot I have not heard since many of them were never available outside Brazil. In the early 1990's, my wife was fortunate enough to hear him perform in a dinner/concert setting in Rio, (with him playing the piano), and LOVED his music.

Scaglione sounds more Italian than Spanish or Portuguese though, doesn't it?
Initially I thought the character was named after Matthew McConaughey's Portuguese fiance Camila Alves. I guess the crew member is of Portuguese descent and possibly related to Camila??? The actress it says that she's Argentinean and a lot of Italian's settled in Argentina so I'm guessing her Dad is of Italian descent.

The actress it says that she's Argentinean and a lot of Italian's settled in Argentina so I'm guessing her Dad is of Italian descent.That info fits pretty well with the accent I heard, because (heard of the Spanish Civil War?) the Catalan language seems to share some words and pronounciations with Italian, (and a border), and of course Argentina's language is Spanish. (Our exchange student's parents visited, and I had the chance to listen to their Catalan for several days... And her father said he was able to speak Catalan in Italy, and was understood well enough to buy fish and food for dinner.)
So do we know what the song is called that played in the last scene and on Ben's iPod (which is not the first song i would pick to work out to, but hey)? I checked iTunes for Josefina Scaglione and she's on there but no mention of Fairly Legal or the song. Hopefully USA will help us out. Let me know if you guys find out what the song is called. It was amazing.
