Goof in poster
Why is Lopez carrying a book about pregnancy? She's the only woman in the movie who's not getting pregnant!

She's holding the book this movie is semi based on.

Ok, that makes sense. So, in the "Hobbit" movie, Bilbo Baggins could hold a copy of the book in the poster, right? This is ridiculous!!! Is this a poster of the movie, or a J-Lo advertisement of the book?? I've NEVER seen that before!!
shareI think the books placement is symbolism for everything she can't experience since she's not able to go through natural childbirth.
Even if they book does have chapters that touch IVF and Adoption, just reading the other chapters helps understand what the Birth Mother is going through, for those who are actually in touch with the BM...knowing what goes on in her body helps bond the two women.
i'm more shocked by the horrible airbrushing thats going on in her face
shareI don't think this is necessarily a goof. Lopez's character tried to get pregnant for a long time, it's completely plausible - and even likely - that she would have that book. And in preparation of adopting it's not unheard of that she would be reading a book about what to expect when having a child. It would help her know what questions she should be asking the adoption agency about what her son's birth mother's pregnancy was like. After all, in parenting she'll need to know of any potential issues resulting from prenatal as well as neonatal and subsequent care.
shareThat book is what inspired the movie? LOL. OMG writers are desperate now. Whats next the Dictionary?
