Whole PREMISE is farfetched (SPOILER)

These are relatively young people who grew up with internet service etc.

WHY would they think that just because a stranger sent them, or posted, a PICTURE...that the picture of the stranger is REAL ? ? ?

So the "shocker" that this ideal stranger isn't who she says she is would seemingly have occurred to them much, much earlier on...like, when they first got pictures of this classically modelesque-looking girl out of nowhere.

It makes the main guy and his friends seem pretty thick-skulled throughout the whole movie, that this possibility never sinks in for them.

What?? This happens all the time its extremely common, and dangerous. It seems pretty common for guys to pretend theyre girls to mess with guys, or just people who let their lies get out of control. Its not farfetched at all in my opinion

Thats not the crazy part. The big moment is when they reveal Angela's real life and you understand why she did it and that shes in love with Nev, etc..

I agree it's not far fetched and happens all the time. There is another great documentary out there that is similar but to name it would give away the twist if you saw it. The thing I found strange in this one was why they started filming him in the first place. I don't think it was fake like some posters but I found the beginning strange.

If you don't name that other documentary, we can't watch it...

^^Yeah, what the heck is the name of it LOL

There are three types of people in this world- People who can count, and People who cant...

Sorry - its called tallhotblonde all inevword

That doesn't give away the movie at all.

BTW: Lifetime did a movie version of the talhotblond story directed by Courteney Cox (Friends) and starring Laura San Giacomo (Just Shoot Me!) , Garrett Dillahunt (Raising Hope, Deadwood), and Brando Eaton (The Secret Life of the American Teenager) as the people involved.

Never underestimate the power of people to deceive themselves, or to accept something as true just because they want to believe it
