They took over my whole week end

So I went to the movies yesterday to see NERVE. I liked it.
Then the next day i'm randomly watching some Inside Amy Schumer videos in my bed (I love her), found one she did with Jake Gyllenhaal. The sketch is about being "catfished". I don't know what that means. I google it. It means being the victim of someone who pretend to be someone else online. There's a TV serie, which was based on the 2010 documentary "Catfish".
So I'm watching it, I want to know what this whole Catfish thing means. It's really good. Filmed on small dv cameras by those two guys. I check those guys on IMDB, did they do anything after this small doco? Yeah, they directed...NERVE.

How did I manage to loop into this... So weird. Made me freaking out a little
