Bachelor Pad 4 needs more eye candy

The first season was filled with beautiful people, but by season 3 it's all the trouble makers but not really as many of the cast members that people salivate over.

They also need more diversity. Almost all of the women this season came from Ben's season of The Bachelor. I like it better when they mix it up and there's fewer pre-existing personal relationships.

It's better to have a cast that's more likely to be entertaining than it is to have a cast full of beautiful people who may make BP boring. The cast was attractive enough IMO.

Well, I just think there should be some cast members who you have a crush on or salivate over. The drama was terrific but I wasn't really salivating over anyone. Season 1 was great. They can always bring in beautiful people who also cause drama.

Lol aren't people normally chosen for the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows in the first place BECAUSE they're beautiful people with the potential for causing drama? In theory they should all be decent candidates for BP. Too bad theory doesn't always translate to practice lol.

I agree though. I think there's a balance that can be struck, and I think having more crush-worthy people could help up the viewership a bit. From personal experience, I thought Bachelor Pad looked like such a "trashy" show at first which is why I didn't watch Season 1. I only tuned into Season 2 because Kirk was on it. I had a MAJOR crush on him during Ali's season. I MAY have even sent an application into the show at the time in the hopes of him being selected as the Bachelor - *cough*. But that's beside the point. The point is, I started watching because someone crush-worthy was on there. The drama is great, and usually it's what keeps me watching, but hot people certainly don't hurt anything.

Well, I do notice that the Bachelor and some other reality shows actually cast it this way...they have a percentage be the real candidates, like gorgeous, etc. Then, they'll have a percentage to represent regular people to be the underdog and then have the crazies/clowns, etc. Bachelor Bob was initially just the comic relief. I thought it was kind of silly that he was then seen shoving his tongue down every girl pretending that he's this JFK Jr. beefcake. It reminds me of the season of Survivor where all the attractive people were voted off early and the show's ratings tanked.

Yeah, you should have thrown in your application. Then, you would have gotten to see him up close. But, don't tell him that you're a fan. That seems to have backfired on girls in past seasons.

That season of survivor was Thailand or Fiji I'm assuming. I think that was a factor, but the main reason was both of those seasons became incredibly predictable. You knew which two players were most likely to get voted off each week, and barring one or two eps, it didn't change.

But Jessica going first and the other chick who was pretty hot pulling out before the show started in Fiji was a bummer!
