The book wasn't intended to be porn. Anthony made his position very clear. Due to the specific connotation about that specific magazine, Fili had to choose if that was going to be his modeling career or a manager at a salon. Anthony fully supported his underwear modeling. However, many people view playboy and playgirl as pornography and that's not far off. Anthony didn't want his salon connected to something people perceive as perverted and unless you've owned your own business you really cannot understand the fear of having customers turn on you for one thing small.
In my profession, I do understand we're Anthony s coming from. If I chose to pose in Playboy or Hustler, I would also be saying I don't want my job.

I agree. His underwear modeling was 1000% different than his posing for Playgirl. If you've looked at the Playgirl pics you'll see that the pics are NO WHERE near underwear model pics. They're definitely NOT classy pics. Anthony was not wrong when he gave Filly the ultimatum of Playgirl or Anthony Roberts Salon. I wouldn't doubt it if Cathy told Filly to go through with the shoot & guaranteed his job at the salon simply because she's part owner. She needs to realize that being part owner does NOT equal knowing what's good for business.

Who cares? Seriously people need to loosen up! It's a beauty salon not a day care center! So please! I'm sure not many customers would care. People are not as uptight as people think they are. When people act like that I just want to give them a sex toy and tell them to loosen up! No offense but I can't stand it when people have "prude attacks" over stuff.

It's a bit late for Anthony to be worrying about a 'family orientated' salon. This is a salon where he hired Tracy even after publicly she spat in the face of Olivia during work hours at her last employment. Does he not think that decision would harm his salon image.
It just goes to show how fake this show is.
It's so fake that none of them work at the gatsby at all. I even saw a video of Doria before she was on the show, who was the only real employee that had a spot on the show, saying that it was all staged and none of the girls really worked there. I highly doubt Tracy even worked for Anthony.
