Probably already known but just in case.

1. "People who've called for appointments at The Gatsby, which is a real salon run by Gayle Giacomo and her daughter Christy Pereira in Green Brook, New Jersey, say they never see the TV-star stylists there. "On a recent weekday visit to the Gatsby Salon, the five new employees featured on the show were all absent… Much of the filming was done at night, they explained, and they actually have a staff of 40, not five," the The Star-Ledger newspaper reports."
When people call for appts with Gatsbys "girls", they are always told no can do."

2. "And all that drama between Olivia and Tracy is basically written by the shows creators and STORY EDITORS to make it way more interesting. They really do know each other and there really is a little drama but in real life it's the other way around, Olivia stole Tracy's boyfriend! It's not even the boyfriend shown in the show he is just a hired actor."

2 "In most of the Jerseylicious shows you can see times and outside light changes during "continuous" conversation or travel. You also see things like the same extras(two girls) walking by numerous times during "continuous" conversations like the one between Fillipo and Lorenzo while eating before the salon school entry."

No, there's still a few gullible people who think this is all so real no matter how fake it is and how clearly they see that no one calls eachother out on the what was said about them or done to them behind their back in the first season. A real reality show wouldn't work this way or have so much internet proof no one works there and it's scripted. LOL!

And I am one of them. Are there any American reality shows that are NOT fake, because it seems like all of them are either scripted, use hired actors or both!

I love this show-and I've heard the scripted argument so many times, from the time it started-and even while I'm watching, I'll call out things that seem too coincidental to be true. I feel like its nothing more than a fake reality show with real people, like a soap opera set in a real salon where thy use their real names, and I've come to accept it. It's actually entertaining!

I believe there is truth to some of it, or at least would like to think so when im watching, but I wouldn't feel deceived if they came out tomorrow and told us it wasn't real. I've come to terms with it, lol!

All I gotta say is if that's acting by Tracy and Olivia then bring on the Emmys.

It's a strange career path for an actress to take, but I guess it could work.

Olivia sings the theme song, that info has been posted here and since Frankie and his family have already been on another 'reality' show, it's really NO surprise that any of the cast on this show want to be in show business, even if it takes being in a scripted 'reality' show where they are portrayed as trashy morons.

Though, from the looks of Tracy, in those old 'guido' photos with Mike, which were linked in another thread here, it seems Tracy never had any class and draws A LOT of her Jerseylicious 'style' from her real life closet!

They changed the intro song.
It used to go something like "big hair fancy clothes...".

The was the start if the song they cut the into down so they cut the song down. Still same song though just shorter.

I'm not sure what the show was called, someone posted about it here in an older thread.

I suppose you can GOOGLE Frankie and Carla to get info on what the name was of the makeover show they appeared on. The person posting was positive it was Frankie and his family buying, renovating and trying to flip houses.

I saw an ep of "Is She Really Going Out With Him?" with Snooki when she was still Nicole and much thinner

Sell This House with Tanya Memme and Roger Hazard on the A&E channel....Carla (the mom) and her 2 sons, Frankie and ??? were on the show trying to sell their house. Tanya and Roger are the host and decorator....they helped Carla and the boys clean, paint and get their home ready to sell. This show was on before the Jerseylicious premiere.

Yeah I've always known this was scripted. According to what I've heard besides Gayle and Christy, only Doria works there, she was asked to be on the show by the producers one day. Chicagolicious works pretty much the same way. It's all scripted just like all of the shows on Style with the exception of Tia and Tamera and Giuliana and Bill, which also have their scripted moments as well.

Just got secretly engaged to the best guy ever!!

Call me gullible then because I thought it was real and I still think it is real. They are going to have to prove to me directly that its fake before I believe its fake.

I never thought this was fake! I thought maybe they influenced it but I thought it was real. I hope the rumors aren't true 😓
