Disliked the main characters

I didn't care for Michael or Gabi, I think they were terribly miscast. I don't need A list actors to enthrall me but I like someone with an actual personality and a enjoyable screen presence. I loved Harper and a few other characters but generally disliked Michael to the point that it distracted from the entire movie. Even some of the unknown neighbors interested me more than Michael and Gabi. The story as a whole captured me at times but I found myself distracted and bored when the main character was on the screen.

IMO, the movie should of focused on Harper as the main character or found much stronger characters to play Michael and Gabi.

Yeah, michael was too
'deadpan' no emotions period.

I don't get the need to like characters in a movie where their world is falling apart. No one should realistically be likeable and full of charisma when everyone they love is probably dead and they're risking being eaten alive at any moment.

In movies like these, unlike-ability adds to the tension and reality to the premise. I find it more annoying when the characters are like deified superheroes or stand-up comedians making wisecracks about everything.

I agree with you. I found Michael extremely annoying since the beginning. I was hoping he would die earlier in the movie. I didn't like Gabi either. Harper is the best character, by far.

Overall, I was disapointed with this movie.

" If only I had one more chance to change my life today,then I would never let you go. "
