yes because a single father who loves his son and expresses it must be exploiting him for votes right? he's a big part of his life and the fact that people out there are so negative about it is just really sad. are we that jaded by media that we can't accept this guy loves his son and isn't using him for votes? most kids would dream to have a dad like this. especially kids whose dads tend to not be around at all.
shareYes, but that has been covered about 10 times this season and last year too when he tried out but got cut in the early stages. With me this story has gone from being sweet to "I'm sick and tired of hearing about it", almost every 30 year old on the planet has kids, you aren't that special.....you've mentioned it over and over.....time to give it a rest. It's clear he believes his son will help him get some votes, so he mentions him every single time he has the chance to.
By the way, when he says he's a single father what does that mean exactly? That he has joint custody of the boy?
It seems like the mom abandoned him and the son.
His truly a single dad. To me, any man who single-handedly raise a kid, deserves lots of accolades to me. Shows alot of heart.
Maybe that's why I think his good looking, his beauty glows from the inside.

I don't want to be cynical but I kind of feel the same way. They've already shown that story, quit going back to it over and over and over. This goes back to last year when he auditioned with Hallelujah and his son came out on stage.
There is no reason to bring this up anymore.
And a brother in the military. And his son was sitting on the military brother's lap last night.
